Art Appreciation Summer Special
After a year of learning about great art and artists together, for Art Appreciation Summer Special we’ll be visiting some galleries together (famous and not so famous!). We’ll also be trying our hand at a little art ourselves!
The first two days will focus on music, with songwriting workshops both individually and in groups, practical activities, and opportunities to explore creativity through sound and performance.

Thursday 20th August -3pm - 5pm Mayfair galleries tour - a chance to come and view contemporary art being sold in London’s exclusive art district at a selection of private galleries. Meet at the Soho cafe at 3pm.
Thursday 20th August 6.30-8pm Art Appreciation - our usual event considering the work and life of a famous artist. Details will be coming later.
Friday 21st August 4pm - 6pm Art hunt at the Tate Modern meeting outside the Turbine hall at 4pm.
Friday 21st August - 6.30 - 8pm Street art tour of Brick Lane and Shoreditch, meet at Spitalfields market at 6.30pm.
Saturday 22nd August 11.00 - 13.00 - Portrait drawing in the cafe! come and try your hand at drawing, non-artists very welcome!
Saturday 22nd August Art hunt at the National gallery 14.00 - 15.30. Meet at the Soho cafe at 14.00.
REFRESHMENTS
Participants should bring their own beverages, or a small amount to buy tea/coffee if we stop at a gallery café.
